Accordingly, the Deputy Mayor has been arrested while going to collect the Rs. 3 million for awarding the tender. He is scheduled to be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate’s Court tomorrow. He was elected to the Kurunegala Municipal Council representing the All Ceylon People’s Congress.
