Increase in rainfall expected in coming day - Sri Lanka Mirror - Right ...

Duty Meteorologist at the Department of Meteorology, Malith Fernando, says rainfall is expected to increase over the next few days. He made these remarks while addressing a media briefing held at the Department of Government Information today (10) to raise awareness regarding upcoming weather conditions. He said that nine major reservoirs and five medium-sized reservoirs managed by the Irrigation Department are currently spilling over.
