On June 25, 2025, the parcels were opened and examined, which revealed a significant quantity of concealed narcotic substances: approximately 1,101 grams of cocaine, 1,666 grams of kush and four vials of cannabis oil, Sri Lanka Customs stated. The total estimated street value of the seized narcotics stands at approximately over Rs. 60 million.
