News The Sri Lanka Expo 2026, originally scheduled to be held next month, has been rescheduled to January 14–17, 2027 owing to travel difficulties arising out of the West Asian conflict, its main organiser -the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) announced on Tuesday. It was earlier scheduled to be held on June 18–21, 2026, at the BMICH in Colombo. The decision to reschedule was made in response to prevailing geopolitical uncertainties affecting global trade and travel, the EDB said. The event is expected to bring together approximately 750 local exporters and 1,500 international participants, including buyers, investors, and media representatives.
