During the inspections, officials detected a trader at the Bokundara Economic Centre selling a kilogram of Keeri Samba rice for Rs. 360, exceeding the approved maximum retail price. The CAA said legal action will be taken against traders found violating price regulations. The authority also urged consumers to check the gazetted maximum retail price when purchasing rice and avoid paying more than the stipulated amount.
